1) Use a proxy service to buy directly from Yahoo Japan. I recommend Zenmarket or Buyee. If it is adult product you need to buy you can also try Japanrabbit. I think you can still get 18+ from Zenmarket and Buyee but only some of them. Japan rabbit you should be able to get it all, although more expensive.
2) If you wish to do it yourself I recommend using Blackship. It's a great service that gives you a postbox, address and phone number in Japan, however you will need to verify yourself with a driving license, passport or car ownership (to mention a few options). It gives you the best option and I recommend Blackship myself if you often get stuff from Japan auctions or other websites in Japan. Their customer service is also really good.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the info! I couldn't find so detailed info in Internet so its very appreciated :)

I was planning to go with your second option, coincidentally with Blackship. I have shopped with them many times until now already with other Japanese shops and Im pretty happy with them, so I hoped to do it with Yahoo auctions too.

So, is really necessary to identify myself as Japanese citizen in order to buy through Yahoo Auctions Japan? I thought that a Japanese phone number (Im looking how to get one), a Japanese address (I can use the Blackhip one) and enough Japanese knowledge for these kind of things (I have it already) was enough. Im only interested in buying things, I dont want to sell anything.

Do they really ask for official documentation like passports? There is no way to avoid it?
